My name is Chantel Hamner and I have been teaching for 9 years. Eight of those years have been spent in the Resource Class setting. I have also taught in Tom Bean, Howe, and Colbert. I love Tioga and I plan to stay here as long as possible.
I love frogs and have a pretty good collection of figurines. I inherited part of my collection from my grandmother. She passed away a few years ago from breast cancer and was one of my dearest friends and heroes. My classroom is decorated with frogs everywhere.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Thomas, for 13 years and we have 3 great kids: Matt, Chelsea, and Austin. My cousin's daughter, Jaidyn, lives with us too. She is only two years old and she is adorable!!! We have a dog named Adrian and a cat named Shadow. My family enjoys camping and spending time outdoors. We are also all taking Tae Kwon Do!
My family has hosted 7 exchange students! We have hosted Pavel from Russia, Ricardo from Bolivia, Giulia from Italy, Ton from Thailand, Byron from Chile, Chloe from New Zealand, and Arthur from France.
