Math

In math, we use three basic programs along with a lot of supplemental materials.

For my elementary students I use Saxon Math and Semple Math. While Saxon uses repetition, Semple math uses mnemonic devices and memorization clues.

With my middle school students I prefer a program through AGS called Basic Math Skills. This program allows my students to perform higher level math skills without focusing on reading word problems.

I also try to use some math simulations to show my students how they will use math in the real world.
